Q2) Current voluntary redundancy plans and plans to reduce Grade 7 staff are likely to produce unsustainable expectations, to the extent that nobody will take on their remaining roles. Is this really not understood at the highest level?

Q8a) One big problem with priorities is that every service fits into these priorities somehow. Are members prepared to change priorities so some service areas are excluded?
Q8b) We have lost a lot of talented senior staff, posts have been deleted and there is nowhere for talented staff to be promoted to. What can we do to retain staff and create promotion opportunities?

Q9) The financial challenge means that we have to deliver savings in shorter time frames but our internal processes are far from lean. This sometimes means managers aren’t trusted or empowered to deliver. How can we implement things better?
